John Fortino began his career with the TD Bank more than 16 years ago. He had worked as a Financial Advisor at TD Canada Trust, then on Pelham Street in Fonthill as a Financial Planner with TD Wealth Financial Planning before assuming the role with TD Wealth Private Investment Advice on October 2021.

Fortino says, “I had been the Senior Financial Planner dedicated to the Fonthill area for more than a decade, up until the Fonthill branch closed in 2021. I was at the branch every Friday and my clients would tell me that they appreciated this consistency. Although most clients would make an appointment, others knew me well enough to drop in on Fridays to chat and ask questions.”

Fortino says, “My process is simple. I try to respond to clients within a 24-hour period, most often the same day. I know my clients, their situations, and their preferences well.” Fortino is the first point of contact when a client needs any financial advice. He says, “Even if their kids need a mortgage or clients need to update their Will and Powers of Attorney, I will make a referral to another qualified professional in my network.”
